Formerly known as ‘Cockfighter’s Ghost’ – the spacious contemporary re-named Pooles Rock Cellar Door is one of the highlights of a visit to the Hunter Valley. It is located on the historic Post Office Vineyard and is surrounded by the region’s oldest shiraz vines dating back to the 1890’s which makes our Flagship Pooles Rock Shiraz. Meet the vibrant cellar door team who will introduce you to the complete portfolio. Try Cellar Door only wines, including Pooles Rock and Cockfighter’s Ghost Reserve as well as Museum Wines.
The White House is a 3 bedroom federation style cottage located on the beautiful Pooles Rock Vineyard. Overlooking the historic vines and within walking distance to the onsite cellar door and Hunters Quarter restaurant, this accommodation is truly unique.
The Cottage features 3 queen bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room, 2 living rooms, fireplace, air conditioning and wrap around veranda and BBQ.
Wine club members are offered a 15% discount of advertised rates and complimentary tastings at our cellar door.
